Newman Education Center. This year’s theme is “Shaping the Future of Biomedical Informatics: Education, Innovation, and Career Pathways in the Age of AI.”
The keynote speaker will be Marina Sirota, PhD, professor and interim director of the Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research focuses on developing computational integrative methods and applying them to disease diagnostics and therapeutics.
The symposium will feature an innovation showcase, poster session, networking lunch, breakout sessions, and a fireside chat followed by a reception.
Abstracts are invited for posters and 3–5-minute lightning talks. Faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and collaborators from all disciplines are encouraged to submit, including work in progress. Selected abstracts will be presented at the symposium.
