Gun Violence and Human Rights Workshop: 'Building Momentum'

About this Event
The Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute and the Gun Violence and Human Rights Initiative will host a Workshop on June 29, 2021. The workshop is co-sponsored by the International Law Association (American Branch) Human Rights Committee.
This workshop is broken into two parts. The first, which is open to the public, will involve the presentation of research by scholars working on gun violence, firearm laws, and gun safety issues, as well as discuss recent action by the U.S. government to fight gun violence. The second half of the Workshop, which is closed to the public, will open with a presentation of the Initiative’s research and be followed by a discussion of a variety of strategies to address the U.S. gun violence crisis and keep progress moving forward.
