Dr. LJ Punch is a trauma surgeon, educator, and community advocate who works at the powerful intersection of medicine and public health. Known for their bold and compassionate approach to healing, Dr. Punch is deeply committed to addressing the impact of trauma—not only on the body, but on the whole person and the community.

As the founder of The T and the Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC) in St. Louis, Dr. Punch has created safe spaces for education, support, and healing for those most affected by trauma and gun violence. Their work goes beyond the operating room, centering dignity, resilience, and community empowerment in every initiative.
