Resonant Rest Sound Bath with Diana Parra Perez

Connect to nature, yourself and one another at this Mindfulness Month event. Free and open to the public.

RAIN LOCATION: This event will now take place in McMillan Cafe on the 1st Floor of McMillan Hall! We hope to see you at noon!

Seating may be limited. Please bring a camp chair or yoga mat, if you have one. Be sure to add this event to your calendar using the link above!

While, the event has been moved to McMillan Cafe, be sure to wander through The Butterfly Garden this autumn!

The Butterfly Garden is one of the 15 Connection Points designated by the Buder Center as mental health spaces where community members can seek out psychological safety and tranquility and reintroduce the Indigenous names and uses of the plant species.

Directions: The Elizabeth Danforth Butterfly Garden is on the corner of Forsyth Blvd. and Wallace Drive. It features picnic tables, benches, beautiful wildflowers and trees, and of course, plenty of pollinators! It is easily accessible from the DUC parking garage, as well as MetroBus and Campus Shuttle stops along Forsyth Boulevard & Wallace Drive.

Mindfulness Month is hosted by Mindfulness Science & Practice with support from the Incubator for Transdisciplinary Futures in collaboration with the Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies and IDEAS at DOM.

RSVP is welcome, but not required.
