Opening remarks will be from Dr. Dwayne Proctor, the President and CEO of the Missouri Foundation for Health, and the panel discussion includes a noteworthy roster of expert panelists and community members including Okunsola Amadou (Founder and CEO of Jamaa Birth Village); Chad & Rochelle Evans (patient representatives); Monique Roberts Gill, LPC (Associate Program Coordinator of WashU School of Medicine Perinatal Behavioral Health Services); Carmen Shelton (Doula-Jamaa Birth Village); April Mickens Jolly (Vice President of Health, Equity & Culture at Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region & Southwest Missouri); Dr. Matifadza Hlatshwayo Davis (Director of Health for St. Louis City); Dr. Kanika Cunningham (Director of Health for St. Louis County); and Dr. Tyriesa Howard (Brown School Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Fathers First Initiative). The two-part panel will be moderated by Ruth Ezell, senior producer from Nine PBS.
