Lindsay Stark, Professor of Public Health
Dr. Lindsay Stark is a social epidemiologist with more than 20 years of experience in violence prevention, child protection, and humanitarian health research focused on improving outcomes for vulnerable populations through rigorous science and policy engagement. She currently serves as Professor of Public Health at Washington University in St. Louis, where she directs undergraduate public health education and co-directs the Center on Violence and Injury Prevention. She has led multi-site randomized trials across conflict-affected settings, authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications, and advises governments, multilateral agencies, and NGOs to translate research into policy and practice.

Ilana Seff, Research Associate Professor
Ilana Seff’s research agenda is focused on improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalized populations across the globe through evidence-based public health solutions. Her extensive research experience encompasses the prevention of violence against women and girls, particularly in humanitarian settings, and the psychosocial well-being and mental health of refugees and other displaced populations. Dr. Seff received her DrPH in Global Health and Humanitarian Systems from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and an MPH from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University.
