DESCRIPTION:Join WashU Medicine Protective Services and Sustainability staf
 f for a bike safety class. The purpose of this course is to teach stud
 ents\, staff\, and faculty on the WashU Medicine campus the principles of 
 safe riding in and around campus. The course will be taught by WashU Medic
 ine Protective Services officers who have been certified by the Internatio
 nal Police Mountain Bike Association (IMPBA).  \n\nThe course will focus
  on helmet fitting\, bike equipment check\, safety on the street\, and bik
 e nomenclature. The class will consist of an indoor presentation in MCC an
 d an approximately 1.3-mile road ride. \n\nClass capacity is limited\, so 
 registration is required. If the class is full\, join the waitlist via the
  registration form. Individuals on the waitlist will be notified on or bef
 ore May 6th if a spot has opened up. Registration is open to all WashU Med
 icine faculty\, staff\, and students. Details about class logistics will b
 e communicated with registrants prior to the event. \n\nIn the case of inc
 lement weather\, the event will be postponed. Class participants will be c
 ontacted on or before May 6th.  \n\nRiders will need to bring the followin
